In this edition of the City of Florissant Podcast, Mayor Lowery is joined by Wendy Gordon to talk about the upcoming Black History Celebration - Walking To Freedom: From Struggle and Strength.
This event will be hosted by the Florissant Art Commission at the Florissant Performing Arts Center on February 15th at 2pm.
The public is invited to attend this free event that will feature music from the following artists: Anita Jackson, Gloria Jean Vann, Heal For The Arts Band, Kim Fuller, Myles Lacey, St. Louis Community Gospel Choir, and Wendy L. Gordon.There will also be poetry and trivia from Top Teens of America St. Louis Chapter and a dance performance from Point of Surrender Dance Company.
