In episode 6 of the Supreme Court Opinions Read podcast, we read the Supreme Court's opinion in Andrew v White. At issue in this case, whether it is clearly established in federal law, for purposes of the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act, that the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment prohibits introduction of irrelevant evidence at trial that is so prejudicial as to render the trial fundamentally unfair.
