Guerra Mundial, debemos detenernos en la históricamente conocida como “La Tregua de
Navidad” del año 1914. Este evento consistió en un cese del fuego espontáneo que ocurrió
en las zonas de combate de Francia y Bélgica, durante ese conflicto que sumió al mundo
en la oscuridad ética y moral desde 1914 a 1918. Soldados británicos y alemanes durante
la Nochebuena y el Día de Navidad de aquel año se reunieron, intercambiaron cigarrillos,
comida, bebidas, cantaron villancicos, y jugaron partidos de fútbol improvisados entre las
trincheras y la muerte, creando un momento de confraternidad en medio de la brutalidad
de la guerra. Esta actitud efímera no se repitió en los años siguientes del mundial conflicto.
