About this listen

On this episode of Ohh, I’m Lonely! and the second episode of Pride Month (💖🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️) I am delighted to have my internet (now IRL) friend Miki Abraham-Grayson (who has since gotten married since we recorded!!) on the show. Miki (she/they) is an actor and self esteem/career coach. Currently they are part of the cast of the Tony nominated musical Shucked! She is a swing and the first cover for the “Independently Owned” Lulu. A force to be reckoned with onstage and off. I am so grateful to have them on the pod to discuss all things lonely and isolating being a first time swing for a brand new work. It’s a part of the theatre industry that doesn’t get discussed enough and is so vital to keep the production running.

I know Miki is not alone on this journey of learning all that goes along with being a swing/standby/cover/understudy!  So thank you Miki for taking the time our of your busy life to spend time on the pod and for this beautiful conversation. Thank you #SwingNation for doing what you do to keep shows up and running. We would be lost without you!

I hope this helps you in some way!
