What does being American mean to you? After the events of last Saturday, the question begs to be answered. Do we show violence toward our opponent? Do we resort to fighting when we don't agree?
The America that I desire is one where we can all sit down and talk out our differences without resorting to violence. That will only come from a repentant heart. The scripture that I was referring to is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14. If we will humble ourselves and pray; seeking God's face, and turn from our wickedness, then God will heal our land and forgive our sin.
Let's join in prayer for a changed America.
