About this listen

Welcome to an all-new wrestling podcast - with a twist!

Have you ever dreamed of putting together your own dream wrestling roster? Who would make the cut? Who would reign as your World champion?

Well, join us as podcasters Paul McGrath (Phoenix Five Podcast, What's The Story 90's Glory?), Ash Rose (HOW Mania, Alive and Kicking, The 90s Football Podcast) and Chris Tetreault-Blay (Dead Men Talk, Once Upon A Turnbuckle) as they do just that!

In this first season, the guys need to build their roster. Week-by-week, they will take a different division and each will come armed with 2 superstars from the 90s who they feel should be part of their wrestling promotion. For each of our hosts, one of their picks will be a guaranteed entry onto our roster and one will be a 'wild-card', up for discussion and debate, with only 1 of the 3 wild-cards making it to our wrestling promotion.

Kicking off the series - the Light-Heavyweights!

The 90s saw the golden age of the light-heavyweights, with ECW and WCW showcasing the talents of the luchadores from Mexico and many other 'small guys' from around the world who all helped change the face of wrestling throughout the decade.

Which superstars will be up for discussion today and, most importantly, who will make the cut?
