Believing that the Trinity desires to connect with us heart, soul, mind and body. Our next step is to explore what it looks like for us to love him heart, soul, mind, and body. Beyond spending time in prayer and meditation, here is my suggestion for exploring what your heart looks like.

Ponder your past passions and how you want to affect people's eternities.

Surround yourself with people who will support your development.

Engage with people who value your thoughts about God and lead you with wisdom.

Worship with people who give you space to learn how you connect with God.

As you connect with God, you will be transformed from the inside out from corruption to purity. You will find your behavior shifting from old patterns to new ones. Scripture calls this taking off the old garments and putting on the new. We talked in episode 2 that purity is not behavior, it is proximity. To expand on proximity a bit, proximity to God purifies us of corruption, which transforms our character and reshapes our hearts. Scripture tells us that out of the heart come our choices, actions, and behaviors.

Jesus tells us in John 5 :28-29,“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.” Living in Kairos time is mandatory. God is not playing. We must learn to hear with our whole hearts and obey. This world will burn, we do not want to experience that. Grab hold of the handle of the umbrella and learn to hear his voice, and nudge.

We explore Mt 21:1–11 where Jesus directs his disciples to get him a donkey to ride. When we wrestle with the idea that we have the same spirit in, around and through us that Jesus did, we are challenged in the same way the disciples were to believe his words and apply them to concrete tasks.

Down to the details on the cross, the word of God is united. The events of redemption, executed perfectly to the prophecies, prove God’s dominion. If God connected with us to provide redemption, trust him to connect you with him, with others, and with yourself in the timeline of eternity.

Naaman’s servants went to him and said, “My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, ‘Wash and be cleansed.’ Naaman's misunderstanding is that honor rests in the physical realm instead of the spiritual realm. By shifting his understanding that the spiritual realm is primary, he could then see that God deserves Highest honor.

When we are connected to the umbrella, we can be sure that we will be given the info we need. God is carrying the burden of timing. When he says “worry not," he means it. In this lesson we hear Jesus speak about letting God manage the timeline. We use John 14:29 as our verse. "I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe"

As believers, we are asked by God to serve as his hands and feet. We can understand God as this project manager that is balancing all the tasks and the flow. For me, the idea that God simultaneously manages the flow of every person on the planet is impossible. Realizing that we are all connected to God within His nature makes it easier to grasp. I think of it this way. When my physical body is in pain, my mind is aware of everywhere it is in pain. The mind has this incredible ability to gather information about everything going on inside of me no matter how much is happening . It can send signals instantly throughout my body that make adjustments to my behavior and actions in order to stop the pain. It is able to do that because the central nervous system creates connections all throughout the body. With Christ, as our head, the brain center, he too is connected to his body. His substance contains a “central nervous system” that keeps him connected with us and all we are going through. This episode takes a deep dive into God's ability to be outside of time to ochestrate through connection the circumstances of everyone on the planet.

Here is the take away. If we think that we can solve all of our spiritual issues by thinking differently, we will lose every time. If we do not forge a new approach in all 4 parts of our heart, including the way that we obey God with our body, we will constantly do what we do not want to do. How many times do you set your mind to something, and its overriden by the desires of the flesh. Used by a good father, discipline saves us from severity and eternal pain.
