Shadows are human yet the parts that we try to avoid as much as possible. As the sun shines light, the moon shines in the dark. Just like us. We have days where we feel amazing and all is well, then we have days where we feel so heavy that some things just make no sense to us anymore. Yet instead of letting these parts of us, also known as shadows, create destruction in our lives- we can actually use them in our favor and our loved ones favor. 

 

As humans we have so many parts that make us who we are. Shadows are the parts of us that may feel uncomfortable, fearful, insecure or just confused. They’re heavy. They can even cause us to think to ourselves: What’s the point?

 

This is all signs that your shadows are only asking to be acknowledged, loved, and cared for. We can try to avoid them as much as possible, but they will also make themselves known.
