In this week's edition of our Prioritizing Equity series, we will discuss the AMA’s “Embedding Equity in Crisis Preparedness and Response in Health Systems Guide,” which was released earlier this year. This guide was created in partnership with national health equity and racial justice leaders, organizations and physicians. Partners came together during the COVID-19 pandemic to develop the guide to support health care organizations in ensuring equity and racial justice lens guides those preparing and responding to crises.
