Originally from Ottawa, Kari's journey in the industry has been nothing short of remarkable. Transitioning from editing to directing, her portfolio includes an array of projects such as television commercials, music videos, films such as "Fifty Dead Men Walking" and acclaimed TV series including "The Walking Dead", "Boardwalk Empire", "The Americans", Marvel's "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" and more. Beyond her on-screen contributions, Kari is also the founder and CEO of Mad Rabbit, a film and television production company.

Kari talks to Marriska about what she learned from her days editing commercials, her leadership approach on set, and her continued commitment to elevating women in the industry.
