Podle zpřesněného odhadu se hrubý domácí produkt v prvním čtvrtletí mezičtvrtletně nezměnil a meziročně klesl o 0,4 %. Za poklesem stálo v první řadě to, že domácnosti méně utrácely a jejich spotřeba meziročně poklesla o 6,4 %. Naopak, vláda svou spotřebu zvýšila o 3,9 % a pokles ekonomiky tím brzdila. Dalším důvodem poklesu bylo snížení zásob v ekonomice.
