21 de febrero de 1893: Nace la AFA. Fundada por Alejandro Watson Hutton, es la más antigua de Sudamérica y octava del mundo. Tres mundiales (1978, 1986 y 2022), dos medallas de oro olímpicas (2004 y 2008), 15 Sudamericanos (desde 1975, Copa América), Maradona y Messi… la AFA cumple 131 años.
23 de febrero de 1958: El día que secuestraron a Fangio. El quíntuple campeón mundial de la F-1 fue capturado por la guerrilla en La Habana y liberado después del segundo GP de Cuba, que terminó trágicamente.
25 de febrero de 1951: Se inauguran en Buenos Aires los primeros Juegos Panamericanos, en los que Argentina finalizará primera en el medallero.
