 Siguen las agresiones a mujeres en la república mexicana. Tan solo la Red Nacional de Refugios ha brindado protección y acompañamiento a más de cinco mil mujeres y sus hijos, lo que representa un aumento del 18 por ciento respecto al año anterior, en el primer cuatrimestre del año, reflejando un recrudecimiento de la violencia de género. Pero, ¿por qué se agrede a las mujeres? porque en nuestra sociedad mexicana todavía existen ideas y costumbres que ponen a los hombres por encima de las mujeres que hacen que se vean a estas a modo de objeto o propiedad y se use la violencia para controlarlas o dominarlas.
