Eat The Pudding: A Simpsons Podcast

    Episode 2: “I Was Saying Boo-Urns”

Welcome to the Eat The Pudding fan podcast, where Michael and Ian explore the Simpsons universe in all its colourful and cromulent forms. This is the second episode: “I Was Saying Boo-Urns!”.

In our opening episode, we asked listeners to send in interesting questions ... and the good people have provided! As part of the ensuing conversation, we discuss blink-and-you-miss-’em character appearances and whether The Simpsons is suitable for younger viewers. And in the first part of a Season Four arc, Michael cherry-picks one of his favourite episodes.

This episode’s Spotlight On Springfield shines unforgivingly on the sad, lonely figure of Hans Moleman, who pops up in countless episodes, has a different job every time and seems to die on screen even more often than Sean Bean.

Eat The Pudding: A Simpsons Podcast

    Episode 1: “Get Confident, Stupid!”

Welcome to the Eat The Pudding fan podcast, where Michael and Ian explore the Simpsons universe in all its colourful and cromulent forms. This is the first episode: “Get Confident, Stupid!”.

In this opening episode, we talk about what we plan to unleash on an unsuspecting world in our new podcast venture and about the regular and occasional features that will be included in our twice-monthly episodes.

To kick things off, we pay a long-due revisit to the first series, complete with its wonky animation, quaint storylines and Homer sounding like Walter Matthau on sedatives. And this month’s Spotlight On Springfield shines a light on Troy McLure, who you may know from obvious jokes that we already made in the preview …

If you would like to send us a voice message to include in the show, we have set up a special page on SpeakPipe: https://www.speakpipe.com/EatThePudding. All you have to do is click on the link, record your message and press send.
