Silla is an Inuit throat singing duo from Ottawa, Ontario. We got to sit down with Cynthia from Silla to talk about their music and how they mix traditional Inuit throat singing with other genres to form an original sound. Cynthia also speaks on the concepts from their songs being inspired by interesting stories from the Inuit culture. Silla has many accomplishments such as one of their songs being featured on the Netflix show “North to North” and opening for artists such as Elisapie.
