About this listen

On this episode, Dana presents a piece of writing they created and performed for a Queer storytelling workshop series at the Seattle Reparatory Theater in Spring 2023. The series was facilitated by writer and storyteller D.A. Navoti, who is a member of the Gila River Indian Community and served as the Native Artist-in-Residence at Seattle Rep from 2022-23.

Dana's piece was originally performed at Seattle Rep in May 2023 for an event called "Queer and Courageous: Stories of Existence and Resistance." You can find a full video of the event on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQsFxzCPn2o&t=5742s). Dana's performance starts at about 1:15:00 mark (one hour and 15 minutes).
