About this listen
Ingrid Centurion, Frank Buono and Rocky Burke discuss Governor Newsome's visit to South Carolina and his tour around the country seeking a connection with voters. Frank Buono says Newsome is a symbol of the mainstream Democrat party. They discuss the intent of this tour and what they feel are his bid for a future Presidential run. Newsome lands in the small town of Seneca, which four-term GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham calls home. In last year’s general election, President Donald Trump won more than 75% of votes cast in surrounding Oconee County. Treading in that territory fits with the image that Newsom has been cultivating for himself ahead of a possible 2028 White House bid. Newsome's speeches are filled with the "Big Beautiful Betrayal" and telling younger voters that they must exercise their moral authority against the Trump administration and the GOP. Rocky Burke says Newsome first hates Trump with a passion but he is trying to upset the 2026 elections in SC. Frank Buono a former Democrat says Newsome is all about illegals entering this country. California is a sanctuary state which means their state law enforcement agencies are not allowed to work with the Federal Government. Newsome will say whatever he needs to get the nomination and is trying to act like he is a moderate but he does not mean those things and is completely insincere.
