宮城県・塩釜で訪れた蕎麦店「しおがま庵」店の向かいに立つ大鳥居は、東日本大震災の津波が“そこで止まった”場所。その4メートル下にあった酒蔵・阿部勘さんは津波で大きな被害を受けましたが、見事に復活。こちらでは、縁起の良い「ミミズク」と「鶏」のラベルを２枚重ねたお酒を販売しています。めでたさを取り込み、災厄を乗り越え、日々にメリハリをつける。そんな塩釜の知恵は、お酒の一滴にも宿っています。
