塩釜の「しおがま庵」というそば屋さんで、そばに菊を練り込んだ「菊そば」をいただきました。このお店は月ごとに、旬のものを使った変わりそばを提供しているようです。お店の近くには「曲水」があり、平安時代から塩釜が「憧れの地」であったことがしのばれます。また、お店には「花巻」というメニューがありました。宮城県七ヶ浜で採れたおいしいのりをちりばめた「かけそば」です。これだけでふつうのかけそばとは、全然違った味わいがあるそうです。
