塩竈の”塩”にまつわるお話。玉藻という藻についている海水についた塩から作った「藻塩」を使った「塩おにぎり」、とっても美味しいです。宮城県・加美町の近くで栽培された「ササシグレ」というお米で作った「藻塩のおにぎり」を食べて来ました。私が訪ねた農家では、合鴨農法で「ササシグレ」を育ているそうです。塩竈神社では、今も、藻塩を作る神事が行われています。
