Welcome to episode 2 of A Wee Boost, a podcast from Dublin Fringe Festival and Project Arts Centre.
Each week we’re sharing conversations and inspiration from artists at home and abroad, in the hope of giving you a wee boost whenever you need one.
Our two artists giving each other a wee boost this week are Xnthony, award winning writer and artist and Lucy McCormick, a cross-genre performance artist. Xnthony and Lucy chatted about how they really feel when they see amazing work from other artists, how they generate new ideas, reading reviews and the perils of social media - it’s a good one.
Then in this week’s Postcards to the Edge, we were sent an audio postcard from artist Oozing Gloop who is living in Berlin, Berlin. Gloop shared about what’s been inspiring them lately, frogs as inspiration and tarot cards.
And as always, our favourite sequin-clad alien siblings, Bourgeois & Maurice, provide our theme tune which is guaranteed to raise your dopamine levels.
