He is a professor in civil and environmental engineering, and co-director of the Center for Global and Regional Environmental Research at the University of Iowa. This presentation was part of our "Barbara Schlachter Memorial Lecture Series". The first speaker you will hear is Diane Dillon-Ridgley. In his talk, he discusses global greenhouse gas emissions, ocean temperature and acidity, arctic ice loss, sea level rise and flooding, hurricane intensity, the Paris Agreement, and what we need to do to reduce our emissions.
