The Eagles have given Willem Duursma the mantle of being the #1 pick from the 2025 AFL Draft last night. As well as being one of the more hungrier teams on the night bidding on academy and father/son prospects.
Gold Coast got busy matching each bid that came for their academy talent inside the top 20, the Blues were able to get their father/son and the Bombers used pick 9 to select a draft bolter.
