Dirty Frank was originally intended for Pearl Jam's 1992 masterpiece Ten, but was left off the record. It was released on the Lost Dogs compilation in 2003, with Eddie's first two verses done in a hip-hop style. Being on Lollapalooza they were exposed to rap acts such as Public Enemy and Ice-T.
