In our 4th St Patrick's Day special, we choose some light-coloured beers to dye green and embrace the irish heritage neither of us have. We drink "Willie's Wicked Pilsner" from Hill Hop Tops' Brewhouse, "Tastes Like Home" Pilsner from Horton Ridge Malt House, "SAL" Italian Pilsner from 2 Crows Brewing Co, and "Lunn's Millsner" from Lunn's Mill.

We were introduced to Barb (craftbeergirl) and a conversation was inevitable, so Barb spends some time with us to talk us through her current three favourite beers. The 'Exile on North Street' IPA from unfiltered brewing, the 'Purple Grain' IPA from Lunn's Mill, and the 'Clock Work' imperial stout from Boxing Rock Brewing Co.

Ian is away so Ross is joined by James to try some one-offs that defy comparison. From Garrison Brewing, the PB&J Ale. And from North Brewing, the "Let the Good Times Roll" Golden Stout.

Ian and Ross have the pleasure of getting to chat with Mike Tobin and Matt Conrad, hosts of 'The Afternoon Pint' podcast. Unfortunately, Ross remains terrible at both organization and sound balancing, so this one is TOUGH to listen to, but worth the words from everyone else. Apologies, and we try to do better. Regardless, the gents drink the Smashing Blonde Ale from Great Roads Brewing, the "Cereal Killer" Oatmeal Stout from Big Spruce Brewing, and the "Malternate Reality" NEIPA from North Brewing.

Ian and Ross have the tallest can yet, from Breton Brewing, containing the "Happy Place" DIPA, and also drink the "HI-FI" Double IPA from North Brewing (perhaps for the second time).

We started late this week because Ross was in a play. Regardless, we break out some 355ml cans of lager: The "Jake's Lager" from Nine Locks, Good Robot's "Lager", and the "Black Bear" lager from Propeller.
