Abby and Ronnie sit down for something slightly different this week - A Deverelli Dissertation! After wrapping up Isles & Gods, we realized we had so much left to say about Deverelli that we had to dedicate an entire eisode to it. Instead of asking ourselves questions, we structured the episode around one central thesis: Deverelli is the true Isle of Wisdom, not Hedotis. We dive into how Violet's true test of wisdom happens on Deverelli, wonder if Xaden's wisdom is being tested too, and closely examine Deverelli's relationship with the Gods. We also question other oddities about the merchant isle - why is Courtlyn seeking magical artifacts when there's no magic? Why is the city designed so that it's hard to see from the sky? How is it possible that their palace has stood for millenia? -and wrap up with a little preview on the book series we'll be covering next season (official announcement coming soon!)

You guys have been so amazing about posting really thoughtful questions on socials that we wanted to dedicate a whole episode to answering them. We talk about the nature of the alloy, ponder how the Venin create the wyvern, and get into deep theories about Andarna's bond breaking and shaping abilities.
