    An old man carves a puppet for revenge, but when the puppet begins talking, he tries to teach it to be a real boy in order for his hair to be real as well. As the puppet tries to prove his father’s hair is real, he learns through hardship and hard work what it means to be a real boy, while also losing his fortune and being eaten by a shark.
