Doctor Lucius Pomerantz is an orthopedic surgeon and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. He went through resident training at UC San Diego, where he graduated Cum Laude, and went on to train at the Campbell Clinic for his fellowship. He is also currently a team physician for the San Diego Gulls hockey team and a ringside physician for combat sports. His unique experiences help him to bridge the gap between the sports world and the health field. He and his wife live in San Diego.
