Judea Pearl is The Chancellor’s Professor of computer science and statistics and director of the Cognitive Systems Laboratory at UCLA. He was the recipient of the Turing Award in 2011.

His latest book "Coexistence and Other Fighting Words – Selected Writings of Judea Pearl, 2002-2025" was released on December 10, 2025.
