Now CBT trained and the founder of Redditch Friendship and Support Group, Mary Jones was in her early 20s during the seventies when she ran away from her home and husband in Ireland in search of refuge in England for herself, her one-year-old and unborn child after being subjected to mental and physical violent abuse.
Against all the odds, Mary shares with us how she became strong and how her life changed for the better, and how proud she is the be the person she is today helping others. A caring lady who counsels vulnerable people by supporting and signposting them to other services that can help and change their lives.
