While domestic violence has been front and center in the headlines recently, it is a reality lived by millions of people who are not household names.

Our guest, LaCreasia Turner-Parks is a wife, mother, grandmother, licensed and ordained minister, and domestic violence survivor. Her experience with domestic violence led her to the God-given vision to start her nonprofit 501c3 organization Hands of a New Creation. Through this organization, she provides resources and support for domestic violence survivors.

LaCreasia shares her testimony of surviving domestic violence, society's attitudes about domestic violence and its impact on victims, her nonprofit, and more.
