About this listen

We are back again chatting with Nawal Houghton, a divorce coach, qualified solicitor and mediator who has both professional and personal experience of  helping women, as well as men navigate their divorce with a narcissist.

In the first episode, we focused our divorce conversation specifically on the narcissist and partner receiving their abuse. In this episode, we look at divorcing a narcissist when children are involved.

We know this could be a triggering podcast for some listeners. It’s one thing for us to hurt, it’s quite another when our children are hurting. That said, Nawal’s expertise will guide  you through this minefield of pain- practical tips when it comes to parallel parenting; consistent routines and boundaries to help your children feel safe; how to explain tricky topics in an age appropriate way; and how to keep it together when your children’s behaviour might remind you of the narcissistic parent (don’t worry, it doesn’t mean they are a narcissist too!). Nawal will empower you and show you how to empower your children with various coping techniques that work for you as a family.

“I wish I had found you sooner” is a phrase Nawal often hears. Well, you have today by listening to this podcast and you can find out more how Nawal can help at yourdivorcecoach.org.uk and on Instagram, @your_divorce_coach
