  • Dive into DC Podcast: Merry Little Batman
    Dec 19 2025

It is Christmas Eve in Gotham and lots of things are stirring, especially for a little boy and his cat. Damien Wayne is training to protect the city just like his father. Batman has worked so hard that now Gotham is the safest place to live. However, after years of silence the bat phone rings out across the house causing The Dark Knight to have to leave his family on the holiday eve. Damien tricks Alfred into leaving the house as well so that he can put his newly acquired utility belt to the test. Soon after Alfred leaves, burglars enter Wayne Manor and crime fighting becomes all too real for our little Batman. It turns out Joker is back with Penguin, Ivy and more. His goal is to steal Christmas from the citizens of Gotham. Now that Batman is on a wild goose chase in the Arctic it is up to Damien to save the city. Please join The Silver Vox and Green Butterfly as we dive into this jolly holiday movie to end our 2025 season – Merry Little Batman. Each and every one of you is a gift to us!

Just yesterday he was baby Daniel, so it is not surprising that he is finding this task a bit daunting. Luckily, those closest to Morpheus are here to guide him along the way. It was very heartwarming to see how many returned to the dreaming to bid farewell to Morpheus. The Dreaming will live on because of the sacrifice of its former king!

Can Morpheus outrun his fate? I don't think he wants to. After an endless life he wanted to do something to help his son, even if doing so marked him for death. As we near the end of this series I feel like the Dream King is really changing. He is making plans for who will take care of his realm after he is gone. Which is a stark contrast to his brother Destruction, who was happy to abandon his realm and responsibilities. Morpheus has named Daniel Hall his successor, however, he is a very small baby whose mother is not going to be ok with this. Remember when I said we are going to have to be on the lookout for that favor Loki promised to Dream? Well, the time has come to cash in that favor. Can this infamous trickster be trusted at this moment? Please join The Silver Vox and, your eye in the sky, Green Butterfly as we discuss this and so much more in these two packed episodes of The Sandman: Season 2, Episodes 7-8!

Can reuniting father and son be the key to finding the prodigal brother? Morpheus has agreed to continue his quest with Delirium as long as no other mortals are harmed. Will they succeed? Can Morpheus grant his son an eternal favor? What will be his fate if he does? Press play and find out as The Silver Vox and I, your eye in the sky, The Green Butterfly continue our conversation about The Sandman season two.

  • Dive into DC Podcast: The Sandman: Season 2, Episodes 3-4
    Sep 24 2025

As we begin episode three, Morpheus still needs to decide who will get the key! Many have given their reasons, who will he choose? The fairy's want Hell to stay closed but then where would all the Demons go? He can't leave them to roam Earth, nor can he make their king the ruler of that fiery place because he cannot be trusted. It is for this reason that Azazel is not chosen though he had the best bargaining chip, offering Nada's freedom. The Dream King is smart and uses the rules of protection to his advantage. He can't hurt the Azazel during this truce but that means the demon can't hurt Nada either. In a perilous moment it looks as though Morpheus will be consumed by Azazel, but he saves Nada from within the monster and manages to capture the little devil in a small glass sphere. Morpheus tries to speak to Nada, but it doesn't go well because there is centuries of pain between them and she leaves to go to the waking world. The key to Hell is given to the angels because Heaven cannot exist without its opposite and they were the only ones who did not give a reason why they should be chosen. Now that the matter of the key is settled Morpheus must move on to his next mission. He shall enter the waking world to find his prodigal brother.
