About this listen

In this episode we discus the prologue and chapter one of Robert's book Embodiment.

Bosnak provides an alternative view of imagination. In his view imagination is experienced as an act of perception, where imagination comes towards you as opposed to being created or "dreamt-up" by you. This act of creative imagination he says is the way we know things.

Following Henry Corbin, Bosnak asserts that soul becomes the organ of this imaginary perception stretching between the realm of the gods and our world of mortality. As the anima media natura links the eternal with the mortal we are able to experience the eternal in the very moment of the NOW.

We hope you find our discussion of the main themes presented in this book interesting.
