Hey Everyone

For today’s episode I had on the pod Angelo from Hearth of Hellenism, and we talked about Polytheism, specifically speaking we talked about worshiping the Ancient Greek Gods. Random conversation I know…but this is something that we had on the to do list for a while now, so it was good to make some time and chat with a friend of the pod.

So why did we have a conversation about polytheism and the Gods of Olympus? Well for one, Angelo is practicing Polytheist, Something you don’t come across often, especially in the Greek Diaspora which is overwhelmingly, Greek Orthodox.

We talked about a lot of things. Yes of course, we talked about Polytheism, but we also talked about what it means to be a greek, to be a Hellene, to worship the Ancient Greek Gods, the role religion plays in the diaspora, cultural appropriation of Hellenism, and several other topics that the conversation veered into.
