About this listen
Saurus: forming genus names of reptiles, especially extinct ones.
I find it odd many dinosaurs have the structure of giraffes, rhinos and elephants, all things you find in Africa.
Some ancient reptiles: Abelisaurus, Adamantisaurus, and their favorite Tyranno-saurus, as in "tyranny".
Some ancient scribes: Thoth, Amenemope, Horemhab, Amenhotep (son of hapu), Hori
Facts: Ancient Egyptians developed reading and writing around 3100 BC, with the creation of their hieroglyphic script, which emerged at the very start of pharaonic civilization; the first decipherable sentences in Egyptian date back to the 28th century BC.
