Die Schaabe ist ein 12 Kilometer langer Sandstreifen, der die Halbinseln Jasmund und Wittow verbindet. Ein schmaler Sandstreifen, zwischen 600 Metern und 2000 Metern breit.
Auf der einen Seite der Schaabe befinden sich der Grosse Jasmunder Bodden und der Breeger Bodden, auf der anderen Seite der Ostseestrand zwischen Juliusruh und Glowe. Die Wanderung in dieser Podcastfolge folgt sowohl der Boddenseite als auch der Ostseeküste.
