  • Dialled-In Travel, Antiparos with Athanasia Comninos, Episode 5
    Nov 5 2025

With us today is Athanasia Comninos, founder of The Rooster, a beautiful curated resort with 17 individual homes in Antiparos. In our chat, she’ll be telling us about why she first came to Antiparos, what inspired her to open The Rooster, as well as other Antiparos tips and recommendations, including a legendary retro nightclub that you can’t leave the island without visiting.

If you aren’t familiar with Antiparos, it’s becoming quite a magnet for low-key names: Mark Ronson, Ryan Gosling, Matthew McConaughey all have been spotted here, and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson own a home here. It’s an island that really seems to have something for everyone.

    Ocean Drive Talamanca hotel

Ocean Drive Talamanca is one of our favourite places to stay in Ibiza; it’s seriously our second home. Set moments from the beach, in the local’s much-loved neighbourhood, Talamanca, it’s the perfect location if you’re wanting to do a little bit of everything: it’s close to Ibiza Town and the clubs, and it’s close to the beach and the marina, too. Home to many a DJ passing through, the clientele here may be global, but the staff, many who have been here for several years, instantly make you feel right at home.

For more information or to book, visit their website.

    BA

With numerous direct flights daily in the summer to Ibiza, from three different UK airports, they are our airline of choice. If you’re a Silver or Gold member in their Executive Club, you also get access, when you’re flying BA, to the Ibiza airport VIP Cap des Falcó lounge; head for Gate 1 and you’ll find it.
