About this listen
See how to dial in the back of a spindle shaft in order to stop unacceptable run out using a spring punch. Bill Murphy of C & M Precision Spindle goes over a less common but helpful process of dialing in the back of a precision spindle, in this case a Matsuura 20,000 RPM. He uses a spring punch to take stress out in the nut (here a KTM-12). Stress can build up in nuts on the threads since they are helical planes. Tools used in the video: - Noxon Spring Tools 5 Piece Master Mechanic Set (https://springtools.com/products/50x08-5-piece-master-mechanics-set)
