Luis Melmer (79) ist Gast- und Landwirt in Praxmar und hat in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten die beliebte Freizeitregion nachhaltig geprägt. Maßgeblich hat er dazu beigetragen, dass die geplante Lifterschließung im Sellrainer Seitental nicht gekommen ist. Im Gegenteil - er hat zwei Lifte, die sein Vater erbaut hat, abgebaut. Luis Melmer ist Naturliebhaber und einer, der in seinen Entscheidungen langfristige Überlegungen anstellt. Selbst die Parkplätze im Weiler würde er verkleinern, um die zahlreichen Besucher damit zum Umstieg auf Öffis zu animieren.
