 Die Jesiden wurden von den Kämpfern des sogenannten Islamischen Staat brutal verfolgt, versklavt, vergewaltigt, ermordet. Viele sind aus ihrer Heimat im Nordirak geflohen – wie auch die NeuLand Autorin Shirin Mirza Khalaf. Mit 13 kam sie nach Deutschland. Wir sprechen mit Shirin über ihre Erlebnisse, ihre Heimat sowie die jesidische Religion und Kultur.
