 Es ist der 28. Februar 2003. Bei der Polizei geht ein Notruf ein. Am Telefon ist ein aufgelöster Mann. Er habe seine Verlobte, röchelnd, mit einer Hantelstange auf dem Hals vorgefunden. Der Notarzt kann, als er eintrifft, nur noch den Tod der jungen Frau feststellen. Schnell fällt ihm auch auf, dass dies kein Unfall gewesen sein kann. Er alarmiert die Polizei.
