Today I dive deep into 5 of the 6 things God wants us to do to prepare, posture, and position ourselves as we cross over the Threshold. When God opens the door for us, He wants us to fully transition and enter in! We need to prepare ourselves for new growth, posture our hearts for healing and expansion, and position ourselves to take the new territory God has set before us with confident boldness.

When we are in a Threshold moment in our life, it is important that we not linger on either side of the door. While there may be a battle to crossover on one side, there is a challenge to move forward on the other side to fully embrace and step into the new territory God is calling us into. Linger on either side of the threshold presents it’s own problems and issues. If we don’t deal with the issues/sin in our heart or heal our soul wounds, we will continue to circle the mountain again and again until we deal with them and heal. Abraham had so many “threshold moments” in his life and it took him many threshold transitions to finally pass through and fully trust God so he could embrace the enormity of his God destiny.

Good news is, we are at a Threshold. We are in the middle of a shift, a transition, a breakthrough, but yet it hasn’t happened. The bad news, you are at the Threshold. I know, how can a shift or transition or breakthrough season be bad? It isn’t really, but it can often be a time of discontentment, disappointment, and discouragement. It's often a time of being uncomfortable, of wrestling and battle with things. Spiritual speaking a “Threshold” is a trasnsition from one place to another. Transitions are turning points, points of decisions, pivots, crossroads, a new phase, and even an entering into a deeper relationship with God.

Today Dr Bill Faught joins me on the podcast to discuss his hot off the press new book, “Announcing Destiny: Keys to Fulfilling God’s Dream for Your Life.” Dr Bill was on the podcast several times in 2020 so it was good to catch up with him to hear all that God has been doing in his life the last 5 years.

In his book “Announcing Destiny,” Dr Bill discusses how a recalibration is needed in prophecy. He gives a better understanding of prophecy, prophets, and the New Testament rules of engagement. He goes on to explain how “Prophecy is influence,” therefore we need to exercise caution as we operate in it. We also discuss some of the roadblocks to destiny, and we discuss the life of Paul and an unexpected curveball to many. Many think Paul’s thron is in the flesh was that he was single, but Dr Bill shares why we can be certain, Paul, was in fact married.
