The doctors of The Dam are going to court, and a woman’s life depends on a voodoo ritual. Emily demonstrates a heart massage despite having no medical training, and Polly Googles every question we have in real-time.

Max Goodwin must charm a rich and racist widow into donating millions to The Dam. Emily makes unnecessary theatrical references, and Polly takes a stand in support of Connecticut. 

When a neighboring hospital suddenly finds itself without any doctors, Max Goodwin heroically orders his short-staffed hospital to take on all their patients. It's a rough day for our hosts: Polly is confused by microphones, and Emily loves the sirens that keep interrupting us.

A bullet rips through New Amsterdam. Polly is pleased to learn that Max enjoyed a great night of karaoke, and Emily would like you all to stop asking us for medical advice.

It’s all hands on deck when New Amsterdam joins several hospitals outside the city to participate in a domino transplant procedure. Polly still won’t respond to any texts, and Emily reads from Wikipedia about immortal homicide detectives.
