    • 8 ounces (225g) elbow macaroni
    • 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter
    • 1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
    • 2 cups (500ml) milk
    • 1 cup (120g) shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup (120g) shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1/4 cup (30g) breadcrumbs

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a baking dish.

    2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    3. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously for 2-3 minutes until well combined and lightly golden.

    4. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens.

    5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth.

    6. Add the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to the cheese sauce and stir to combine.

    7. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until evenly coated.

    8. Pour the mac and cheese mixture into the greased baking dish.
