Do tamtego Borsuka strzelali w lesie SB-cy, do tego chcą strzelać w lesie narodowcy. Tamten Borsuk był relegowany ze szkoły. Ten musiał z niej de facto uciekać przed pogróżkami. Zmieniłem koncepcję filmu. Zrozumiałem, że to niebywała okazja by zmierzyć się z tematem łączącym trzy pokolenia. Borsuk-Borusewicz mógłby być moim ojcem. Borsuk-Rybak mógłby być moim synem. I pokazując ich życie i walkę mogę zadać pytanie o solidarność wtedy i teraz. Dwóch "borsuków" i łączący ich las.
