Sequel Summer comes to an end with one hell of a bang as Justin’s dad, David Dodd (iHeartRadio), joins the boys to talk about PREDATOR 2, a movie so big, brash, loud, violent, and confusing that the appearance of Gary Busey actually provides some calm and clarity.

Justin, Steve, and David try to get to the bottom of some of the movie’s most pressing questions, like: “Why is the Predator in L.A.?” and “Wait, but why is the Predator in L.A.??” From script to screen, it’s a gigantic, sweaty mess that seems more interested in ripping off every other ’80s action franchise than in making an actual sequel to Predator.

This week, the boys interrupt their regularly scheduled programming to dive into the meme-factory disasterpiece that is 2025’s War of the Worlds. Like an actual alien invasion, this Amazon ad masquerading as a “screenlife” sci-fi/horror film came out of nowhere and left a trail of devastation in its wake.

Justin and Steve may never recover after enduring some of the laziest, cheapest filmmaking they’ve ever witnessed. It feels almost impressive to make a movie this bad, but just like planet Earth herself, Amazon has a special talent for ruining everything it touches.

The Disasterpiece Podcast is a year old! And we’re celebrating our big Number 1 by looking at a GIGANTIC Number 2 — BIRDEMIC 2: THE RESURRECTION

Once again, we forced three-peat guest host Rollie Williams (Climate Town) to watch this even worse installment of James Nguyen’s climate disaster/romantic thriller trilogy.

What’s the difference between the first and second Birdemic movies? Not much! However, it still manages to be a step up in production value, but a huge step backward in entertainment value. But even if this movie is a big old turd, it's always a pleasure to gather in a studio with your chosen family and have yourself a party.

Because why should a movie called Caddyshack II have anything to do with caddies or where they hang out? But don’t worry, there are more real estate hijinks than you can shake a nine-iron at.

BAYWATCH NIGHTS. David Hasselhoff shows us another side of everyone’s favorite lifeguard, Mitch, as he starts a beach-centric private eye business, and apparently never sleeps. But no matter how good of a P.I. you might be, you’ll never see the crazy genre pivot this show takes in its second season.

Nobody wanted this spin-off, and the wildly successful original show didn’t need a franchise. It’s the TV equivalent of a waiter pouring hot fudge all over a steak you were in the middle of enjoying.

To gear up for the release of SUPERMAN, Steve and Justin are talking about the fourth installment of the original Superman film series—and Christopher Reeve’s final flight in the world’s most famous Speedo.

And who better to take the reins for the big finale than Cannon Films, who, in the same year as QUEST FOR PEACE, also released the deep-bench sequels Death Wish 4 and American Ninja III.

It’s a cheap, flimsy whimper of an ending for the legendary franchise, and killed any other Superman movies for 19 years. Not even Lex Luthor could have done as much damage to the Man of Steel.
