 El primer fin de semana de mayo Bohonal celebra cada año, dentro de las fiestas del municipio, la Cruz de Mayo. En la misma todavía se conserva una curiosa costumbre, por la que los quintos van de noche marcando con cruces las puertas de las casas donde vive alguna moza por la que se sientan inclinados y a la que quieran halagar con este gesto.
