  • Carey Baldwin & THE WIDOW BRIDE With Pamela Fagan Hutchins On Crime And Wine
    Mar 28 2024

Carey Baldwin chats about her new release THE WIDOW BRIDE with Pamela Fagan Hutchins on Crime and Wine.
    About THE WIDOW BRIDE:
As I look down to the beautiful arch set up on the beach for our wedding, I have to stop myself running into Blake’s arms. He’s been the only light in the darkness of my grief. I’m sure I’m making the right decision… aren’t I?
When Blake insisted we keep our elopement a secret, I agreed. But, now, it feels wrong to walk down the aisle between empty chairs.
My first husband’s last words to me echo in my head. “Find someone who loves you as much as I do when I’m gone.” I never thought I could do as he asked. Until I met Blake. He’s the only one who truly understands what I’ve been through, soothing my pain by showering me with gifts and affection. So why do I feel so uneasy?
As I step in front of my husband-to-be, I think back to my last conversation with my first husband’s sister. Should I have listened when she tried to tell me about Blake’s past?
Maybe it’s just wedding day nerves… But as Blake puts the ring on my finger, I can’t tell if it’s excitement or fear as a shiver runs down my spine when he says, “Finally, you’re mine.”
Then I remember my sister-in-law’s warning. But it’s too late to turn back now.
Marrying him is the only option because I have secrets of my own.
Blake may think he knows me, but he has no idea who he’s really dealing with…
A completely gripping psychological thriller which will have you reading late into the night until you reach the final shocking twist. Perfect for fans of Gone Girl, The Wife Between Us and The Perfect Marriage.

  • K C Walker & OLD FASHIONED MURDER With Pamela Fagan Hutchins On Crime And Wine
    Mar 7 2024

Karen Sue Walker - author writing as KC Walker talks about OLD FASHIONED MURDER and the Arrow Investigations Mysteries with Pamela Fagan Hutchins on Crime & Wine.

    About OLD FASHIONED MURDER
"Funny clever murder mystery!" - Amazon Reviewer
"A fun and wacky read!" - Goodreads Reviewer

Whitley “Whit” Leland is an out-of-work stuntwoman with an attitude. Stuck in a sleepy mountain village with her wannabe PI grandmother, Bobbie, she’s content to spend her time eating flaky pastries, mixing cocktails, and chasing after her wayward rescue dog.

She also needs to keep her grandmother out of trouble, which is harder than she expects. Between rehearsals with the Ukulele Ladies, Bobbie investigates a series of seemingly unrelated accidents targeting local musicians. Whit enjoys teasing Bobbie about her true crime obsession--after all, who would go to such lengths just to win a small-town music competition?

Whit gets her answer when she finds one of the Ukulele Ladies dead. Is Bobbie next on the hit list? Whit will have to use her smarts and her skills to track down the murderer before they know she’s onto them.
Can Whit, her grandmother, and their rogue chihuahua find the murderer before someone else turns up dead?

    About K.C. Walker
KC Walker does her best to avoid meaningful employment. This often conflicts with her desire for the finer things in life, such as food and shelter. Writing novels seemed to be an acceptable compromise, since making up stories can hardly be called work.

One day, KC took a look at her rescue dog and thought, "Why isn't this freeloader contributing to the household coffers?" Soon, the idea of a snarky yet (hopefully) lovable stuntwoman named Whit and her tiny demon dog came to mind and the first story began to form.

  • S.W. Hubbard & UNHOLY TREASURE With Pamela Fagan Hutchins On Crime & Wine
    Feb 22 2024

S.W. Hubbard Author chats about UNHOLY TREASURE and her very beloved and successful Palmyrton Estate Sale Mystery Series with Pamela Fagan Hutchins on Crime & Wine. Warning: this conversation likely to go off tracks about dogs and hiking. Sorry, not sorry.
    UNHOLY TREASURE
A holy relic of the past unleashes a deadly passion in the present.
When estate sale organizer Audrey Nealon runs a small sale in conjunction with a larger one, she's stunned to learn a small knick-knack Ty sold at the sale for five bucks has been resold anonymously at Christie’s auction house for half a million dollars. The little house-shaped object turns out to be a medieval reliquary, purported to hold a fragment of the bone of the Saint Benedict.
With her client furious at the costly error, Audrey must discover how this precious reliquary turned up in a suburban New Jersey estate sale. Is Ty’s hunt for the vandal a distraction, or is it linked to the mystery of the reliquary?
Others are equally intent on finding the person who profited from the sale of the reliquary. As the forces of sin, faith, and devotion battle, Saint Benedict might not be the only one who is martyred.
    MEET SUSAN
My addiction to mysteries followed a familiar trajectory. Innocent dabbling with the Bobbsey Twins and Nancy Drew led to a craving for stronger stuff—Christie, Conan Doyle, Poe—so that by the age of twelve I had a habit that couldn’t be broken. Here’s what makes a great mystery for me: plot twists that I didn’t see coming, characters like real people I know, motivations that make sense, and a touch of humor. Those are the kinds of mysteries I like to read, so that’s the kind of mystery I write!
My first mystery novel was published way back in 2003, and I’ve been writing mystery novels ever since. In 2019, I expanded into women’s fiction, a genre that I also enjoy reading.
I live in Morristown, NJ with my husband, Kevin, and my dog, Libby. All three of us are avid hikers.
