The faith that comes from Jesus saves us! it brings us into an unshakable kingdom. God is a consuming fire, but we are renewed by the flame because of this faith. Is not our lives different? Are we not changed?

We continue to discuss faith and the implications of faith that we saw from the saints who came before, as well as that of Jesus, who is the perfect example of faith.

Today we start our 4 week journey in the book of Hebrews. Faith is what our lives are built on. So will we live by faith?

We finish our look at Colossians today and see how Paul has been moving us from hope, to faith, to love. May we learn to stop and ask, if we have been raised with Christ.

We reach the turning point of the letter. Paul is encouraging the believers to live a justified life, one that is only shaped by the work of God.

To walk in not just about movement but comes with the idea of a clearly defined pathway made from one who has gone before. Rooted is agricultural and pushes the idea of being fully nurished. Built up is architectural and is based on the idea of blueprints, constructed with a specific purpose and design. established is a sure footedness and steadfastness. all of this comes together to define what life looks like when we live justified. A work of God, not of us.
